FIFA World Cup 2026 - Quarter-Final

ENGLAND v NORWAY

Tonight - 10pm UK - Miami

Win tonight and it is a semi-final in Atlanta on Wednesday - then the final at MetLife Stadium on Sunday 19 July

At ten o'clock tonight, England walk out under the Miami lights with a place in a World Cup semi-final on the line. Ninety minutes, maybe more, between the Three Lions and the last four of the biggest tournament on earth. Pub gardens are booked out. Big screens are going up in parks. Somebody in your group chat has already typed the words and deleted them twice.

The next nine days could be the greatest fortnight in the English summer. This is what to wear for every minute of it.

The Occasion Demands More Than Polyester

A replica shirt belongs at the stadium. Everywhere else, the pub with standards, the barbecue, the rooftop screening, the office on semi-final morning, the occasion deserves better than a squad number on nylon. This is a World Cup summer: dress it like the event it is. Crisp cotton. A print with wit. White worn like a statement, not an afterthought.

"Hope is a national costume. Wear it properly."

The Hero: Football Flags, Down to the Last Handful

One shirt in the collection was made for exactly this summer. The Football Flags Print Shirt throws footballs and the flags of the world across satin-finish cotton, the whole tournament rendered as wearable art. It roars for the game itself, not a scoreline, which is exactly the energy to bring to a knockout night.

Fair warning: this print is down to the final few pieces. If you want it on your back for the semi, order before full time tonight.

Style it open over a plain white tee with ecru chinos, or buttoned to the top under a navy bomber when the night runs long. The print does the celebrating. Everything else stays quiet.

Three Lions, White Shirt

England's iconography has never needed decoration: white shirt, three lions, done. You can channel that without a badge in sight. A crisp white pique polo is the most quietly patriotic thing a man can wear in July, sharp enough for a beer garden with standards, cool enough for a 10pm kick-off, and completely immune to the result.

If this side go all the way to that Sunday in New Jersey, this is the outfit that survives every round: white polo, navy or stone trousers, white trainers. St George kept the palette to two colours. There is wisdom in that.

Fly the Flag, Literally

For the man hosting the watch party, leading the anthem, manning the barbecue through extra time, the Best of Britain Print Shirt is the full commitment: Union Jack iconography and British emblems worked across a statement shirt that treats patriotism as a design language, not a slogan.

And because tonight kicks off at 10pm, and a semi would run past midnight UK time, keep a layer within reach. The Great Britain Print Denim Cotton Shacket carries the flag through the print of a denim cotton overshirt: thrown over a white polo when the garden cools and the football refuses to end, it is the most stylish contingency plan in the country.

Three more occasions to dress for in nine days, if tonight goes the right way. Nobody is taking Norway lightly, least of all anyone who has watched their number nine this month. But whatever happens under the Miami lights, the summer of 2026 has already earned its place in the memory.
