There are mornings when the whole workshop grins at once, and this was one of them. LDN Fashion has published a feature on Claudio Lugli, and it tells our story with the care we always hoped someone would: the limited runs, the Egyptian satin cotton, the contrast collars and cuffs, and the one rule we have lived by since 2001.

“Some labels whisper. Claudio Lugli has never been one of them.”— LDN Fashion

That line sums up twenty-odd years in a single breath. We have never chased quiet. We make hundreds of prints a year, release them in limited runs, and retire each one once it sells through. We never repeat, we reimagine — and our customers have turned that into a habit of collecting rather than simply buying, each shirt tied to a wedding, a birthday, a big night out.

The card-print blazer — maximalism is the whole point, not a trend.

From the ring walk to the red carpet

Bold clothing needs bold people, and we have never been short of them. We have dressed heavyweight champion Tyson Fury for a decade, designing the suits and shirts that turned his ring walks into events of their own. The fuller story behind those pieces lives in the Gypsy King collaboration — and there is an official WWE Icons collaboration, too.

A print for every occasion

Florals and paisley for weddings and garden parties; racing prints for the paddock; skulls and abstracts for a night out. A statement shirt works best when it leads — keep the rest simple, and let the print do the talking.

If this is your first introduction to the house, begin with our new-season prints. And don't wait too long — when a print is gone, it's gone.

Claudio Lugli: the short version

Who founded Claudio Lugli?

Claudio Lugli was founded in London in 2001 by master tailor and designer Hossian “Hoss” Salimian. It remains a family-run house in north London, with the next generation now leading much of the creative direction.

What fabric are the shirts made from?

Our printed shirts are cut from Egyptian satin cotton, which gives a smooth handle, rich colour and a subtle sheen. Everything is made in Europe, with contrast collars and cuffs as a house signature.

Does Claudio Lugli repeat its prints?

No. Prints are released in limited runs and retired once they sell through. We describe the approach in our own words: “We never repeat. We reimagine.”

What sizes are available?

Men's shirts come in nine sizes, from S to 6XL, at one price across the range. There is also a full womenswear line of shirts, dresses and jackets.
